AEP (Advanced Elementary Program) serves state-identified gifted children in Lexington School District Two. Students leave the regular classroom to attend AEP where they work on enrichment activites related to their classroom curriculum. Third grade students attend AEP for 2 hours and 5 minutes once a week while fourth and fifth grade students attend for 3 hours and 20 minutes once a week.
